Reviews
"This is a book that will nourish the soul as well as stimulate the mind of all those who read it. It is a perfect text for rabbis to teach to their members, for parents to teach to their children, and most important, for human beings to teach to themselves." -Rabbi Jack Riemer, author of Finding God in Unexpected Places
"My dear colleague has written a beautiful introduction and companion to the Book of Psalms that speaks to the heart, soul and mind. He combines rigorous textual reading and helpful historical context with penetrating observations on the value of the Psalms as a guide to spiritual practice in our time. The book made me want to delve into many of the psalms he wrote about to gain new insight and inspiration. There is something here for everyone - read and savor!" -Rabbi Amy Eilberg, author of From Enemy to Friend: Jewish Wisdom and the Pursuit of Peace
